Mitsubishi Motors

While Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation of Japan, it maintains a strong Kiwi perspective. Our focus is on the various, often unique, needs of New Zealand motorists and the effects we all have on our naturally diverse and beautiful country.

MMNZ operates out of Todd Park in Porirua, Wellington, with a staff of 68. Close by is our facility for recycling used vehicle parts, which plays a major part in our sustainability policy.

MMNZ has a strong commitment to achieving a cleaner vehicle fleet for New Zealand. These pages will inform customers of our future plans, as we strive to develop more sustainable business practices that help safeguard the future of our environment and our ability to continue to provide vehicle owners with high levels of driving pleasure.

New Zealand Motor Industry Initiative

The New Zealand Government is working towards achieving, by 2015, a sales-weighted average CO2 emissions target of 170g/km for all new vehicles sold in New Zealand.

This will be achieved progressively, as more smaller cars are sold and new more fuel-efficient vehicles are introduced.

MMNZ supports ground-breaking conservation project

While progressively developing policies and practices that diminish its own effect on the environment, MMNZ is putting heavyweight support behind New Zealand’s internationally-reputed mainland conservation project – ZEALANDIA.
