As an automotive manufacturer, we have a privileged opportunity to address environmental change. It’s a responsibility we’ve embraced for a long time.

Our design principles ensure the recyclability of our vehicles. Our efficient engine systems reduce fuel consumption wherever possible.

But this is only the start. We’re also designing the next generation of vehicles.

It’s not a distant goal; it’s technology that’s here now. We’ve already launched i-MiEV, New Zealand’s first all-electric car available at a mass produced level. It’s the way forward that others will follow.

As far as sustainable vehicles go, it’s a very good start indeed.
