Sporty new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S heads for Paris Motor Show

Two years after unveiling its successful Outlander PHEV plug-in hybrid vehicle at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has again chosen France’s "Mondial de L'Automobile", opening 4 October, to premiere a PHEV vehicle.

This time it is the Outlander PHEV Concept-S.
Taking "sporty and sophisticated" as its theme, the refined interior and exterior design expresses the unique combination of spirited 4x4 performance from its twin-motor PHEV system, soothing silent running, and superior on-road performance.

The production Outlander Plug-in Hybrid available in New Zealand uses two motors and a high-efficiency petrol engine to enable fuel efficiency of 1.9L/ 100km and emissions of only 44g/km (ADR81/02 test procedure).
