Under Level 3 restrictions, Mitsubishi Dealerships in Auckland will be able to reopen to provide contactless servicing and vehicle sales. Areas under Level 2 are able to invite masked customers back inside.


Customers in Level 3 Areas:

In Level 3, Mitsubishi customers are able to book their vehicles in for contactless servicing. Your local Mitsubishi Motors dealer will be able to talk you through their Level 3 protocols so there's no surprises on the day of your service. If you have any concerns please raise it with the team when you speak to them. As always, if you feel sick on the day of your service, please call your Dealership (or Mitsubishi Motors NZ on 0800 54 53 52) and we'll be happy to reschedule your service for a later date.

Customers in Level 2 Areas:

As you’d expect, we’re taking the responsibility of welcoming our staff and customers in Level 2 locations back to our dealerships extremely seriously and that’s why we’re taking a number of measures to keep our local communities safe.

As you can no doubt appreciate, the list of safety measures is long and detailed, but we’ve tried to summarise a few of the key points for you below;

Booking your Mitsubishi in for its Service
  • We know that some members of our community may feel nervous leaving their homes at this time, so we’ve made home pick-up and drop-off servicing available. Please note that priority will be given to customers over 60 years of age or who are immune compromised.
  • If you book in your service and start to feel unwell please contact us prior to your service and we can reschedule it for a later date.
Visiting our dealerships for your Service
  • As per Level 2 guidelines, customers are able to enter our dealerships but must adhere to social distancing (2 meters) and masking wearing guidelines. If you're unsure, please call your Mitsubishi Motors dealer before dropping your vehicle off for servicing. They can talk you through their Level 2 servicing procedures.
  • Payment for your service will also be contactless and we can talk you through the options when you make your service booking.
  • Our facilities will undergo daily, stringent cleaning of all surfaces and common areas with Hi Grade Anti-Viral sprays. 
  • You’ll be glad to know that our service staff will be wearing gloves at all times and masks, as well as observing all social distancing requirements.
  • All contract tracing protocols are being strictly adhered to so that we can provide information to the Ministry of Health in the unlikely event that we’re asked to.
  • After completing your scheduled service, all vehicle touchpoints will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to ensure your safety. You can see a full list of those touchpoints below;

If you missed your service during Level 3 or 4 lockdown, or it’s due for a service shortly, you don’t need to worry about losing your warranty. Contact us on 0800 54 53 52 or and we'll get your servicing back on track.

Buying your Mitsubishi

Along with the safety measures and protocols detailed above, there are number of things we’ll be doing to ensure your safety when buying a Mitsubishi

  • Under Level 3 guidelines, we're not quite ready to start selling vehicles in a way that you’re more accustomed to. That means that all negotiations and enquiries need to be done remotely, so we can talk by email, phone or video
  • If you would like to take a Mitsubishi for a test drive, we can arrange this at your local dealership or remotely. You can book a contactless test drive here.
  • Contactless vehicle delivery is also available if you'd prefer.
  • All trade-in appraisals or finance discussions can be conducted in a way you’re comfortable with– either in dealership, via email, phone or video.
